Meet The Artist

Erin F. Gibson
Painting is my medicine and my greatest love. It deepens my connection to the divine and challenges me in ways nothing else does. I paint because I have to—because it keeps me sane, and reminds me of what my inner landscape really looks like when the outer world can get too loud. When I create, I invite people to connect with color, movement, story, and emotion, rather than with structure or technique. All of my works are co-creations between myself and what I consider the spirit of each piece. Some of my pieces are for me (aligning with my original vision) and some I have to move out of the way altogether so the piece can come to life on its own terms. When that happens, I go on journeys with myself I never asked to take, yet I always arrive exactly where I’m meant to be. This is why I love art—it is a dance, a conversation between Self and Source, and the act of creation all at once. It is playful, sacred, raw, and personal. It won’t let you hide from yourself, and it requires your complete surrender.
